how it works
How Does Ombré LED Hair Removal Work?
During treatment, red light energy is delivered across the treatment area to target unwanted
hair. The light energy interacts with suitable pigmented hairs and produces controlled heat around the hair follicle.
With repeated treatments at appropriate intervals, this helps to progressively reduce hair
regrowth.
Over a course of treatments, you may notice:
Slower hair regrowth
Less hair growing within the treated area
Finer and softer regrowth
Reduced hair density
Less frequent shaving
Smoother-looking skin
treatment experience
Surprisingly Comfortable.
Smooth and comfortable

ice-tip cooling technology
Comfort that Goes
Further
Comfort is an important part of our LED Hair Removal treatment.
The treatment handpiece is equipped with Ice-Tip Cooling Technology, which provides
continuous contact cooling against the surface of your skin during treatment.
This helps:
Keep the skin surface cool
Balance the warming sensation from the light energy
Make treatment more comfortable
Manage heat at the skin surface
Make larger treatment areas easier to tolerate
So instead of simply feeling heat, customers experience a combination of:

UNDERSTANDING THE PROCESS
Progressive Hair Reduction — Not An Overnight Result
Hair grows in different stages, which means not every hair can be effectively targeted during the same treatment session.
This is why consistency matters.
As you continue your sessions, suitable hairs can be progressively targeted through their different growth cycles.
Everyone’s results will be different depending on factors including:
Hair thickness
Hair colour
Hair density
Treatment area
Hair-growth cycle
Hormonal factors
Individual response
our approach
A Realistic and
Personalised Plan
Our goal isn’t to promise you an unrealistic number of sessions.
Instead, we’ll monitor your progress and recommend your next treatment according to how
your hair responds.
With the right plan and consistency, you can enjoy smoother-looking skin over time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our LED Hair Removal is designed to be very comfortable.
Instead of a strong hot or snapping sensation, most customers mainly experience gentle warmth from the red light together with the cooling sensation from our Ice-Tip Cooling Technology.
Sensitivity can still differ between individuals and treatment areas, so please let your therapist know if you feel uncomfortable at any point.
The light energy targets suitable pigmented hairs and generates controlled heat around the hair follicle.
With consistent treatments across the different hair-growth cycles, hair regrowth can gradually become slower, finer and less dense.
As not every hair is in the same growth stage at the same time, multiple sessions are usually required.
There is no fixed number that applies to everyone.
The number of sessions required can vary according to your hair thickness, colour, density, treatment area, individual hair-growth cycle, hormonal factors and response to treatment.
At Ombré, we prefer to monitor your actual progress rather than promise everyone the same number of sessions.
LED Hair Removal is best described as long-term hair reduction, rather than promising that every single hair will disappear permanently.
After a suitable series of treatments, hair may become significantly reduced, finer and slower-growing.
However, hair growth can change over time due to factors such as hormones, age and
individual biology. Occasional maintenance sessions may therefore be helpful.

Ombré LED Hair Removal is a light-based hair reduction treatment using red light technology to progressively reduce unwanted hair.
During treatment, the handpiece is moved smoothly across the skin while emitting a warm red light. Our machine is also equipped with Ice-Tip Cooling Technology, helping to keep the skin cool and the overall treatment very comfortable.
Our treatment handpiece has an integrated cooling tip that remains in contact with the skin while the treatment is being performed.
It helps cool the skin surface and balance the warmth generated during treatment, making the overall experience much more comfortable.
Think of it as:
Warm Red Light + Cooling Ice-Tip = A More Comfortable Treatment Experience
Treatment intervals depend on the area being treated and how quickly your hair grows.
Your therapist can recommend when to return based on your regrowth. As your hair becomes finer and regrowth slows, the interval between treatments may also become longer.
No. Hair grows in different cycles, and not all hairs are at the same growth stage at the same time.
Multiple treatments are therefore normally required to progressively target new hair as it enters a suitable growth phase.
You may notice changes after your initial sessions, but the overall result should be assessed over a course of treatments rather than after a single visit.

Treatment duration depends on the size of the area and how many areas you are treating during the same appointment.
Smaller areas such as the upper lip or underarms can be completed relatively quickly, while
larger areas such as the legs, arms or back will require more time.
If you are treating several areas together, our team can advise you of the estimated appointment duration when you book.
Yes.
If you need to remove hair between treatments, shaving is preferred.
Avoid waxing, plucking or epilating between sessions because these methods pull the hair from the root.
No.
Shaving cuts the hair at skin level and does not increase the number of hair follicles or make your body produce more hair.
Freshly shaved hair can sometimes feel thicker because the hair has been cut straight across, leaving a blunt end.
This is normal.
Hair grows through different stages, and only suitable hairs at particular stages can be effectively targeted during each treatment.
You may therefore continue seeing new hairs appearing between your sessions.
Over repeated treatments, the aim is for regrowth to gradually become slower, finer and less dense.
For most customers, there is little to no downtime and normal activities can usually be resumed after treatment.
Some people may experience temporary warmth, mild redness or sensitivity around the treated area.
This normally settles, but individual skin responses can vary.
For the immediate period after treatment, be gentle with the treated skin.
Avoid excessive heat, aggressive scrubbing or exfoliation if the area feels sensitive. For exposed areas, sun protection is also recommended.
Do not wax or pluck the treated hairs between your sessions. Shaving is preferred when necessary.
It depends on your skin condition at the time of treatment.
Please inform us if you have very sensitive skin, active eczema, rashes, wounds, infection, sunburn or significant irritation in the area you wish to treat.
Our therapist will assess the area before proceeding, and treatment may be postponed if the skin is not in a suitable condition.
No. We do not perform the treatment directly over tattoos.
Please let our therapist know if you have tattoos within or close to the area you wish to treat so they can be appropriately avoided during treatment.
Moles and highly pigmented spots may need to be avoided during light-based treatment. Please point them out to your therapist before treatment.
If you have a mole or skin lesion that has recently changed in size, shape or colour, or is otherwise concerning, we recommend having it medically assessed before undergoing
cosmetic treatment in that area.
We do not recommend treating sunburned, inflamed or significantly irritated skin.
Please inform our team if you have recently tanned or had significant sun exposure before your appointment so we can assess whether treatment should proceed or be postponed.
As a precaution, we recommend postponing elective LED Hair Removal during pregnancy and resuming after pregnancy.
If you are unsure whether you should restart treatment after giving birth, please check with our team before booking.
No . Currently as of now , Ombre only offers our hair removal services to the ladies only.
Light-based hair removal generally works best when the hair contains sufficient pigment for the light energy to target.
Very light blonde, grey or white hair may respond poorly because there is much less pigment present.
If you’re unsure whether your hair is suitable, our therapist can assess it before treatment
Yes.
Please inform us before treatment if you are taking medication that may increase skin or light sensitivity, or if you have an active skin condition, infection, wound, recent procedure, unusual pigmentation or other concern affecting the treatment area.
When in doubt, tell us before your appointment so we can determine whether treatment should proceed.
Because we believe hair removal should be simple, comfortable and commitment-free.
