It is Ombre’s ultrasound-based facial lifting treatment designed to focus treatment energy at
a deeper level of the face.
Our DCL machine delivers ultrasound energy through individual point-form shots, with

This is the treatment depth commonly associated with the SMAS-level layer used in facial

For DCL, our deepest targeted treatment depth reaches approximately 4.5 mm.

After HIFU / Energy Treatments
Can I Do DCL After HIFU or Another Non-Invasive Treatment?
For HIFU and other non-invasive energy-based treatments, Ombre generally recommends waiting:
AT LEAST 1 MONTH
before performing DCL or Endymed over the same treatment area.
This gives the tissue sufficient time to settle before another energy-based procedure is performed.

As a general Ombre treatment precaution, we recommend allowing at least 1 month after filler treatment for the filler and surrounding tissue to settle before performing another energy-based facial treatment.

If Botox was recently injected into the treatment area, we may advise allowing it to settle before proceeding with DCL.

DCL for Slim Faces
Can Very Slim Faces Do DCL?
If someone has a very slim or bony face with little facial volume, aggressive contour reduction may not be what they need.
In that situation, a treatment focused more on skin tightening — such as ENDYMED™ using the
appropriate handpiece — may sometimes be more suitable.
This is why Ombre assesses the face, not simply the customer’s age.

DCL uses an ultrasound-based principle with controlled focal energy delivered beneath the skin, so there are similarities to the concept used in HIFU treatments.
However, Ombre's DCL machine and treatment protocol are designed to provide a gentler, less aggressive treatment experience, while still targeting deeper facial structures.
We also combine DCL with our signature hands-on facial sculpting technique, making the overall treatment different from a standard machine-only HIFU session.
Our DCL treatment includes a treatment depth of approximately 4.5 mm, which is commonly associated with the SMAS-level depth used for facial lifting.
